On 2 April 2026 the Munich I regional court convicted a fifty-eight-year-old Pauline-order priest of sexualised violence against two intoxicated teenage boys of his parish in 2005, together with possession of child sexual-abuse material, and sentenced him to three years and three months. The judgment was not yet final at the time of reporting.
