Belgian criminal court, Hasselt. A priest of the Diocese of Liège, recorded in the Deetman Report under the code bp1, was convicted in April 1957 of the sexual abuse of twenty-five boys committed in 1956 and 1957, and sentenced to three years' imprisonment with five years' loss of civil rights. He was released early.
